Pavel

Influenced by artists such as James Holden, Luke Abbott, μ-Ziq, The Field but also Luke Slater, Perc or Mark Pritchard, Pavel's music is intended to be a colorful ensemble, while remaining coherent.

Originally from a small village in the Canton of Neuchâtel (CH), Etienne Bel aka Pavel grew up in a quiet and rustic world. His opening to a more urban world during his adolescence also led to the discovery of various electronic music. He meets Virgile Crelier in 2008, a magnificent friend and musical genius who left too early. He showed him the basics of the production game. In 2012 that Pavel got his first "official" DJ set in a concert hall, the almighty Bikini Test in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Accustomed to this place, he has since played more than a dozen times but also in great clubs such as Le Romandie, Badehaus Berlin, la Case à Chocs, le Folklor, Fri-Son and many more. Although DJing is its main form of performance, he also performs in live.

His first release dates from January 2016, on a VA of Czech label "Neo Violence", alongside Baltra. Currently, Pavel has released two EPs on Eclect Rec., "Tremens Riddim" in February 2017 and "Palisma" in December 2017. He has also signed tracks for Neo Violence (CZE), DISSOLUTE (DE), and most recently Diffikult (CH), for whom he remixed the duo E&A Rüeger on their EP "Midnight Sun". His first album « Busy Being Broken » will be out in October 2019. It is released as the 1st LP of his co-directed brand new label Blizzard Audio Club.
