Influenced by artists such as James Holden, Luke Abbott, μ-Ziq, The Field but also Luke Slater, Perc or Mark Pritchard, Pavel's music is intended to be a colorful ensemble, while remaining coherent.

Originally from a small village in the Canton of Neuchâtel (CH), Etienne Bel aka Pavel grew up in a quiet and rustic world. His opening to a more urban world during his adolescence also led to the discovery of various electronic music. He meets Virgile Crelier in 2008, a magnificent friend and musical genius who left too early. Virgile showed him the basics of the production game. In 2012, Pavel got his first "official" DJ set in a concert hall, the almighty Bikini Test in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Accustomed to this place, he has since played there more than a dozen times but also in great clubs such as Le Romandie, Badehaus Berlin, la Case à Chocs, le Folklor, Fri-Son and many more. Although DJing is its main form of performance, he also performs in live.

His first release dates from January 2016, on a VA of Czech label "Neo Violence", alongside Baltra. Before releasing « Busy Being Broken » in October 2019, Pavel produced two EPs on Eclect Rec., "Tremens Riddim" in February 2017 and "Palisma" in December 2017. He has also signed tracks on Neo Violence (CZE), DISSOLUTE (DE), and most recently Diffikult (CH), for whom he remixed the duo E&A Rüeger on their EP "Midnight Sun".

His debut album « Busy Being Broken » was the first of his freshly launched co-directed label Blizzard Audio Club. Since then, he took this album to the next level by asking his respected peers, friends, and people he admired to do remixes for him, which brought “Busy Being Broken (The Remixes)”, also released on Blizzard Audio Club in 2020.
