HYPER OPAL is an international duo composed by Marie Hoffmann (V4NT4BL4CK) and Tidiane Cacique (Leave Things), evolving from post- rock, electronica to hybrid-pop.
The couple’s sonorities highlight the rests of a humanity seen through a technological skyline, partly fed by the progressive environment that their place of life – Berlin – offers.
Marie Hoffmann’s ambient voices come to the audience as if her spirit was imprisoned under water, her soul hanging in the woods.
This set combined with the passionate, sometimes rebels, or even haunted rhythms from Tidiane Cacique create an atypical style of music driven by empathy.
